Satellite Gallery is an endeavor in creative place-making; located in the Waterloo Arts District of Collinwood, Satellite Gallery is one of the many art galleries that attempts to revitalize the neighborhood with art in the hopes of attracting people and commerce, and creating hope and excitement.  Free and open to the public, Satellite Gallery only focuses on installation art, and brings established, emerging, and outsider artists to explore the concept of “transforming the environment”.  Since 2014, I have been responsible with co-curating artists and shows, managing openings, photo documenting, publicity and media creation, and handling social media for Satellite Gallery.

FLUXUS, March 2014

FLUXUS was a collaborative artist conceived, made, and assembled advocacy packet.  FLUXUS brought together printmakers and designers, with me being one of the designers and silkscreeners, who created over 500 packets using both traditional and digital printing techniques.  Each packet contained detailed information about the economical contributions of the arts sector, and was mailed out the the local and national movers and shakers.  The goal of FLUXUS was to reinforce the importance of local and national support for the arts sector.
